My Christchurch antenatal classes are designed to arm you with the knowledge to feel assured and ready for your pregnancy and birth journey. We'll tackle everything from birth to baby care basics and the changes you'll face emotionally and physically. Plus, I'll share helpful tips to ease your path.
My courses are grounded in the latest research and practices aimed at helping you make informed choices that best suit your family. And the support doesn't stop once classes end. You'll have access to our community events and continuous support for any questions post-birth.
Joining my in-person antenatal classes also means connecting with fellow expectant parents and creating a support network beyond the baby's arrival.

When should I book?
We highly recommend booking your spot in our Christchurch Antenatal classes as soon as possible.
Our classes tend to fill up quickly, and we wouldn't want you to miss out on this valuable opportunity to prepare for your little one's arrival.
Securing your place early ensures you'll have a seat reserved and won't be disappointed by any last-minute availability issues.
When should I attend a BBA course?
Generally, we suggest attending a class from 22 weeks onwards.
At just over halfway through your pregnancy, you are often starting to prepare and think about your birth and life with your baby.
This also gives you time to put into practice what you will learn at Beautiful Beginnings Antenatal classes, including labour and birth skills, practical parenting guidance, nutrition, feeding and, just as importantly, support in creating a great postnatal plan that suits your lifestyle and values.
Where are the antenatal classes held?
Classes are held at Beckenham Methodist Church - 83 Malcolm Ave, Beckenham.
How much does it cost?
A group course is $319 per māmā and support person.
Bespoke private courses are $600.

We'll cover everything from the practicalities of having a baby to the emotional and physical changes you'll experience.
Plus, we'll share tips and techniques to make this journey as smooth as possible. Our classes are based on the latest research and best practices. What happens if me or my support can't attend in person?
If you (or your support person) cannot attend a session in person, you are welcome to join via Zoom or access the recording following the session.
The Course is marked 'sold out'. What can I do?
You've gone to book into a course, but it says 'sold out'. Don't despair; please contact us directly, and we can either add your name to a waitlist or offer another solution.
